Anthony Palandro entered the floor covering industry in 1972. Since then he has filled every role from installer to inspector, consultant to expert witness on behalf of consumers. Anthony is especially passionate about consumer advocacy in the flooring industry.
Since 1998, a number of major flooring distributors, manufacturers, and major industry associations have trusted Anthony in the role of flooring installation instructor. Some of these include the North American Laminate Floor Association (NALFA), Pergo, and Kahrs International.
He has also consulted on installation issues for several major flooring manufacturers, including Pergo, Kahrs, Expanko Cork, and Capri Cork, and has authored a number of articles on flooring installation for Floor Covering Installer Magazine. Anthony knows the importance of continuing education and, therefore, regularly attends industry events and seminars. At Spire, you’ll meet Anthony in person as he performs all estimates. He also manages the vast array of technical information that goes into proper wood floor choice and installation.
In his spare time, Anthony enjoys spending time in the great outdoors. You will often find him backpacking or kayaking in anywhere / nowhere U.S.A. He is also an avid woodworker and furniture builder. Little known fact: He loves to sleep outside.
Anthony Palandro III, Installation Manager
Anthony began his experience in the hardwood flooring industry at a very early age, helping his father out on jobs and learning the importance of quality craftsmanship. Since those early days, he has spent over 20 years honing his skill of the craft. Most recently, Anthony has owned his own flooring business where he has managed countless installations and has built a reputation on quality work and service. At Spire, he’s the guy that gets it all done; you’ll see him on the job, working long hours with great attention to detail to ensure every customer is thrilled about their forever floor.
In his spare time, Anthony enjoys spending time with family, golfing and riding his Harley Davidson. He is also a devout Christian with a true knack for leadership; he uses that talent as a youth pastor in Broomall, PA. Little known fact: He’s managed more installations than Chuck Norris has dished out round house kicks.
Chris Palandro, Sales and Marketing Manager
Chris brings over 15 years of sales and marketing experience to Spire Wood Flooring. After graduating from Penn State University with a degree in Business Management, Chris went to work in the natural health and wellness products industry where he gained experience with a pioneer triple bottom line company (people-planet-profit). After 10 years, he decided to get back to his roots in the family trade and open the doors of Spire. You can find him at the Spire store and he will most likely be your first point of contact when you reach out to the company. Aside from managing sales and marketing efforts, Chris keeps the company in working order ensuring its continued growth and development.
In his free time, Chris enjoys mountain biking, bird watching, photography, and woodworking. He’s also recently married with a baby boy on the way; a toddler runs their household. Little known fact: Chris is propagating a succulent forest in his basement.
